What’s new at The Sustainability Community?

Post below from The Sustainability Community:

This is an exciting time for us, as we branch out from delivering Yorkshire Sustainability Festival to delivering a year-long programme of conferences, webinars, roundtables and more for our members…

Let’s start with Yorkshire Sustainability Festival as it’s now officially 4 weeks away until the festival returns for the 3rd year! The fringe is made up of lots of brilliant events including:

And so many more – you can check out the whole line up here!

As many of you will know by now, our flagship conference has become ReGeneration Earth with a vision to bring all of the regions under one roof to grow the green economy. The event will be taking place on 18th and 19th June at The Royal Armouries in Leeds and will comprise of 4 stages covering Policy & Governance, Energy, Innovation & The Circular Economy, and Green Skills. As always our speakers are leaders from across the public and private sector, and include Lord Deben, Mike Berners-Lee & Mark Stevenson as keynotes. There will also be a 50 stand exhibition and a co-creation zone where delegates will be able to work together on creating solutions to some of the UK’s biggest challenges. We’re expecting to bring together 1000 sustainability leaders each day to drive forward the green revolution. Will you be there?

Here are just some of the exhibitors you can expect to meet in our exhibition hall: Beyondly, Green Economy Speak Carbon Halston Group Brabners TechForGood UK | B Corp™ ENGIE UK SUEZ UK Earthchain Research Retold BindEthics Ltd. AD:VENTURE Leeds Beckett University C3 Group & so many more! There are a handful of stands still available if you want to showcase your products or services, drop me a DM!

I’m proud to say that West Yorkshire Combined Authority Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire have supported us for the third year running and have confirmed their Headline Partnership with the festival too.

Very excitingly, you can now become a Member of The Sustainability Community! This has been something we’ve long been asked for by our events attendees, and from September 2025, we’ll officially be opening our doors to join TSC as a member. Membership is available for individuals, SME’s and Corporates and below you can check out what’s included! Founding members who join before 18th June 2025 will also get a free ticket to attend ReGeneration Earth saving you up to £350+VAT! Join here.

For those of you who have been following along for a while now, you’ll have noticed we recently did a 1 day conference called #GreenFinanceUK in partnership with South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority in March. This was the first of our one day conferences, and a practice run if you will, and the great news is, the event was a huge success, with speakers including Piers Forster from The UK Climate Change Committee, Kate Josephs CB from Sheffield City Council, & so many more.

So with that in mind, in October & November respectively this year you can expect the following 1 day conferences: #GreenEnergyUK and #GreenSkillsUK to be delivered, before we enter into 2026 when you can expect #FutureCitiesUK in February, #GreenFinanceUK in March, #FoodandFarmingUK in April, and #CircularEconomyUK in May! Announcements coming very soon on the host cities and partners for the event. Want to be a partner? Drop me a note!

We’re so looking forward to bringing together the sustainability community for more events throughout the year to strengthen the green economy, region by region, and we hope you’ll be a part of it!
